The Siena Room

The Niland Conference Centre was built in 1996 and named after Mother Rose Niland OP who founded our

Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena.

Our aim is to offer opportunities and facilities for:

Dominican events
Retreat days
Parish Pastoral Programmes
In-service training days
Meetings/conferences
Exhibitions

Facilities

The Niland Conference Centre is a single-storey building in spacious grounds. It is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available.

The Conference Room accommodates 80 people with comfortable seating. An induction loop is provided for hearing impaired people.
The Newcastle Room seats 25-30 people
The Lima Room seats 25-30 people (The Newcastle and Lima rooms can be opened to form one large room.)
The Siena Room seats 15 people. This room, suitable as a quiet room or oratory, gives access to the garden.
The Beaufort Room seats 10 people.
Catering services are not offered by the Centre. Outside caterers may be used, and there are tables and chairs available to seat 80 people.
